Waltzing Vanessa
I wrote this take-off on Waltzing Matilda for Mom Vanessa Fowler's reception last Saturday in Queensland, Australia. The verses cover certain events from the Job's Daughter career of Mom Fowler such as becoming Miss Queensland, Miss International Job's Daughter, The Grand Guardian of Queensland and finally, Supreme Guardian. Obviously I did not use the Australian meaning of Waltzing Matilda (For more information about Waltzing Matilda, click here), but rather had Vanessa waltzing all around the globe during her Job's Daughters travels.
